Not quite sure how to classify this one. Embrace decided to film a session recording of their first album in seven years and the resulting film was shown at Hyde Park Picture House with some of the band introducing and doing a Q&A. It isn’t a documentary, there is nothing else apart from the album tracks, so it doesn’t feel like a film (and isn’t on tmdb so I haven’t added it to Letterboxd) and it isn’t a gig. It was a great opportunity to present new songs and a fairly unique way of the band heckling themselves. It would be nice to see the film expanded into a real documentary as the entertaining Q&A showed the band have plenty to say.
